1. THERMA LUX

We offer high-quality and effective fire retardant paint for various types of metal structures. Basically, these are steel structures for construction or industrial purposes. Existing fire retardants are guaranteed to increase the level of fire protection of metal structures to a predetermined time. The action of fire-retardant paint is based on the formation of a resistant coating on the surface of metal structures. Depending on the obtained coating layer, a given fire retardant efficiency is obtained, measured in minutes. Polyus products meet all fire safety requirements.

TERMA LUX paint is intended for fire protection of steel building structures of public and industrial buildings with a non-aggressive environment and relative humidity of not more than 80%. Increases the fire resistance of metal structures up to 90 minutes.

The paint is a water-based intumescent system. It is made according to the latest technologies, using nanosynthesis products in its composition, which significantly increase the technological and fire-retardant characteristics of the material. Ideal for airless application.

The paint is fire and explosion proof. "TERMA LUX" is environmentally friendly during application and operation.

The paint is delivered ready to use, white and has an aesthetic appearance (decorative finish). On request, tinted in individual colors with the possibility of obtaining intense shades.

The fire-retardant effect of the TERMA LUX paint is due to the formation of a heat-insulating foamed mineral-coke layer, which prevents the spread of fire and heating of the metal structure.

The consumption for obtaining a dry fire-retardant layer with a thickness of 1 mm excluding losses is 1.7 kg / m2.

Before the fire treatment of metal structures, the paint should be mixed and, if necessary, diluted with water to a working viscosity (but not more than 3-5% by weight). Paint is applied to a metal surface prepared (GOST 9.402-2004), primed with a GF-021 anticorrosive primer. The paint is applied layer by layer with a brush or mechanized using airless sprayers with electric or pneumatic actuators such as "Contracor", "Wagner", "Uniblast", "Graco" and others.

The TERMA LUX fire retardant coating is maintainable, subject to recommendations and operating conditions, retains its properties for at least 15 years.

2. ENDOTERM HT-150

Product Description

Endotherm XT 150 is supplied in the form of two components: a polymer solution in solvent (component I) and a mixture of flame retardants, thermally expanding graphite and fillers (component II). After mixing the components, a working mixture is obtained that is used to form a fire-retardant coating, which, when exposed to high temperatures, swells and forms a heat-insulating layer that protects the structures from heating. Possible delivery of the composition in the form of a single-component paint.

Application area

The composition is used to increase the fire resistance limit of metal (steel) structures, wooden structures operated indoors with a non-aggressive environment and relative humidity of not more than 80%.

Terms of Use:

The coating may be used in closed heated rooms with natural ventilation  and non-aggressive environment, as well as in irregularly heated rooms at temperatures from -40 ° С to + 60 ° С and air humidity not higher than 80% (climatic modification for using the composition according to GOST 15150 - U3). Coating with a protective layer (component I of the composition, varnishes and enamels of grades ХП, ХС, ХВ) is allowed to be used under a canopy and in unheated rooms at temperatures from -40 ° С to + 60 ° С and air humidity up to 100% (climatic modification according to GOST 15150 - U2).

Security measures:

The composition and coating based on it according to the toxicological passport are low toxic substances (hazard class IV according to GOST 12.1.007). A dried coating does not have a harmful effect on the human body.
3. KRAUS-R

Solvent-based, one-component fire retardant paint for metal structures. Color - white, tinting or applying a coating layer with the necessary color (possible to impart weather-resistant properties). Provides a fire resistance limit of up to R120. Available in accordance with TU 2313-003-99023806-07. The life of the coating can reach 20 years or more (there are climatic tests). It is applied for internal works, outside of rooms it is operated only under a canopy. As a coating layer, the composition “Krauz-P” or Temalak FD 20, 50, 80 is used; XB-785.

Fireproof paint "Krauz-R" is supplied in the form of a finished composition. After drying, fire and explosion-proof, non-toxic and does not emit harmful substances into the environment, in concentrations that are harmful to human health. During storage and application, fire safety measures must be observed.

Before use, it is necessary to mix thoroughly (if possible - with a power tool, with a frequency of 120-300 rpm.). In case of thickening of the paint, dilution with a solvent or a solvent is possible in an amount of not more than 5% of the weight of the paint. Add the thinner in a thin stream into a container with paint, continuously mixing with a mechanized mixer (mixer) until the desired viscosity is reached (conditional viscosity at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° С using a B3-246 viscometer with a nozzle diameter of 8 mm for at least 200 s). The use of water as a diluent is not permissible. The paint is applied to the primed GF-021 (GOST 25129-82) surfaces of metal structures. Surfaces must be cleaned of dirt, dust, and fat free (white spirit, solvent, or soapy solution). Places with rust marks must be cleaned and primed. Application of paint is possible after 72 hours after priming. If a primer other than GF-021 is used, it is necessary to carry out test coatings in order to check the adhesion quality and possible reaction with the primer layer.

Application work can be carried out at an ambient temperature below 0 ° C, with a relative humidity of not more than 80%. When applying paint in conditions of negative temperatures, containers with paint must be kept in a warm room for at least 2 to 3 hours. The paint is applied with a brush, roller, or airless spraying machine in several layers, it is possible to apply the first layer with a wet layer thickness of up to 0.9 mm. The interlayer drying period is 4-6 hours (depending on the applied thickness of the wet layer). Full drying and the acquisition of the necessary fire-retardant efficiency occurs no earlier than 48 hours later. Do not carry out work on applying fire-retardant paint if frost forms on the metal structures or condensation forms, there is a direct hit of atmospheric precipitation (rain, snow). In the event of a decrease in ambient temperature and an increase in humidity of more than 80%, drying between the layers and the time of complete drying of the ink increases.

According to the certificate, paint consumption is (taking into account the thickness of the dry soil layer GF-021 0.05mm):

6th group of fire-retardant efficiency (30 min) - with a dry coating layer thickness of at least 0.60 mm and paint consumption of at least 1.00 kg / m 2, excluding losses (reduced metal thickness - 2.8 mm);

5th group of fire-retardant efficiency (45 min) - with a dry coating thickness of at least 1.00 mm and a paint consumption of at least 1.67 kg / m 2, excluding losses (reduced metal thickness - 2.8 mm);

4th group of fire-retardant efficiency (60 min) - with a dry coating thickness of at least 1.26 mm and a paint consumption of at least 2.1 kg / m 2, excluding losses (reduced metal thickness - 4.8 mm);

3rd group of fire-retardant efficiency (90 min) - with a dry coating thickness of at least 2.05 mm and paint consumption of at least 3.42 kg / m 2, excluding losses (reduced metal thickness - 4.1 mm).

2nd group of fire-retardant efficiency (120 min) - with a dry coating thickness of at least 2.20 mm and paint consumption of at least 3.67 kg / m 2, excluding losses (reduced metal thickness - 7.8 mm).

Losses can be from 5% to 20%, depending on the size of the painted metal structures. At the end of work, rinse the tool with water, dispose of containers as household waste.

Work on the application of fireproof paint should be carried out in a well-ventilated area. Work with personal protective equipment: goggles, respirator, rubber gloves. In case of skin contact, wash off with a cloth moistened with solvent and wash with warm water using detergents (soap). In case of contact with eyes and eyes, seek medical advice immediately.

Fire-retardant coating can be used both in atmospheric conditions (under a canopy) and in closed rooms, at an ambient temperature of -50 0 С to + 50 0 С, relative humidity not more than 76%. Operation in atmospheric conditions - only under a canopy.

The warranty period of operation of the coating is up to 20 years from the date of application, subject to the conditions of application and operation of the coating.

The guaranteed shelf life of the paint in the supply container is 12 months from the date of manufacture, subject to the safety and tightness of the container.

Transportation is possible   all types of transport, in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods in force for this type of transport. Storage is carried out in a hermetically sealed delivery container, at an ambient temperature of -30ºС to + 40ºС. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heating containers.
