Genn had to face many problems even when the Northern Gate rebellion was defeated. Rumors arose that Crowley's supporters had begun to unite again, and the Substellar Rippers, as those responsible for the mysterious murders of the king's supporters were called, attacked with increasing frequency. Livestock thefts have also become more frequent. Genn planned to declare a curfew to make cities safer and buy time to find a solution to the problem. He learned of the apparent death of Halford Ramsey and gave the order to comb the surrounding forests. He later gave orders to reinforce garrisons throughout Gilneas without weakening the wall's defenses. However, he did not want to give the population a reason to panic and did not announce the true enemy of the kingdom. He ordered an announcement that Crowley's rebels were at work again.
Over time, the people of Gilneas began to fear leaving their homes, and uneasiness spread even among the nobles. Lord Godfrey, despite all the other problems of the kingdom, was only interested in defeating the worgen and asked Greymane why he stopped going hunting with them. Godfrey assumed that the king was tired after a difficult civil war, and asked to be allowed to personally eliminate the worgen threat by going into the forests with loyal men. Genn refused, not wanting to allow Godfrey to cause panic among the residents. Belisra told Genn that the worgen freed by Arugal were former night elf druids who fell victim to a cursed form ten thousand years ago when their people fought against the satyrs. To contain the threat these druids posed, Malfurion Stormrage forced them into eternal imprisonment in the Emerald Dream. Belisra also spoke about the ritual used by the priestesses of Elune. He could allow the infected Gilneans to control themselves even in worgen form, but those consumed by guilt would not be able to take on human form at will. Genn, who hid the infection even from his family, allowed Belisra to perform this ritual for him in a simplified form. He also asked her to help his friend Krennan Aranas, who was trying to create an experimental potion that could stop the transformation of worgen.

Lorna Crowley, his daughter, learned of her father's release, and then Liam told her about the choice he had made. Lorna pulled out her gun and aimed it at Genn, cursing him. She believed that the king had taken revenge on her father for the rebellion by leaving him to die in a city overrun by the worgen. Since the evacuation began, Genn and Crennan had been working on a way to partially cure the worgen curse. The king's soldiers captured wild worgen in the forest and gave them an experimental potion so they could control their minds. Godfrey spoke out against using the serum on wild worgen, saying that they should all be shot. Greymane did not listen to him and saved one of the worgen from the hands of the executioner, after which he personally injected him with the serum. Worgen, able to control his mind, still could not regain his human form, but was no longer a danger. When Forsaken ships began bombarding Darkhaven, Genn ordered Crennan to distribute the cure to as many worgen as possible and led them to defend the settlement.
Greymane goes to his estate to plan a plan to save his people from the Forsaken fleet. Tess reminded him that there is always hope by showing him a simple flower - the peace flower. Genn Greymane is a 6/5 neutral minion for 6 mana. It doesn’t have the worst characteristics, but the main reason to use it is, of course, its effect. At the start of the match, if you don't have odd-cost cards in your deck, Genn will reduce the cost of your starting Hero Power to 1 mana. This happens automatically at the beginning of the game, and for this you do not need to find and play Genn Greymane from your hand.
Players had a number of questions about the operation of this card. Here is some confirmed information from the developers:
- All 30 cards in your deck must satisfy the condition (must cost an even amount of mana - 0, 2, 4, 6, etc.) to activate Genn's effect.
- You can't use Expedition to Un'Goro Objectives in a Genn deck because they cost 1. mana. More precisely, you, of course, can do this, but the effect of reducing the cost of hero power will not work.
- 0 mana cards are counted as even, so they will work with Genn. The cost of the Changeling Scroll is also considered zero.
- Genn only reduces the cost of the initial hero power. If you change it during the game (for example, using one of the Death Knight cards), Genn will not apply its effect to the new Hero Power.
Genn's ability does not look as bright and interesting as Baku's ability. However, as Malfurion the Malefic once showed, brightness and strength often have nothing in common.
Genn and Druid

Don't forget about the elementals. Rumbling Elemental, Herald of the Fire Crown (which can make the cost of other elementals odd!), Fire Crown Phoenix, Grumble the Worldshaker, Fire Elemental, Kalimos the Primordial, and Al'Akir is a pretty impressive list.
Shaman is another class that has some even deck components. But assembling a complete deck from these scraps does not seem so obvious at the moment. If new even cards appear that interact with totems or elementals, then a workable assembly may see the light of day

Biography
Genn Greymane was one of the leaders of the human nations who met to form the Alliance of Lordaeron. He did not seek to join the rest of the states and was hardly sincere when he finally agreed to help. As the ruler of one of the most powerful nations, Greymane was convinced that his own armies could cope with any threat, and remained indifferent to Anduin Lothar's stories about the need to unite against the Horde. Despite their apparent disdain for the Alliance, the people of Gilneas also hated the orcs and their allies, intending to meet them head on when the Horde attacked the kingdom. Thus, Gilneas existed separately from the Alliance of Lordaeron even until the end of the Second War.
When Alterac's rule fell, Genn set his sights on these lands, although he had no rights to them. He supported Isiden, nephew of Lord Aiden Perenolde, when he tried to take the throne of Alterac. Over time, Genn began to support the desire for the throne of Lord Daval Prestor, Lord Perenolde's cousin, not knowing that he was the human form of the black Aspect of Deathwing. Character change
Genn Greymane, as introduced in the Cataclysm expansion, is a stark departure from his depiction in the novels, which portrays him as a gruff and impatient king.
